Turn your heating load into a revenue line

Utilities pay for flexibility — the ability to trim demand for short windows when the grid is stressed. SensorSuite makes electric-heated apartment buildings dispatchable, so your portfolio earns demand-response revenue while tenants stay comfortable.

Energy has always been a cost. Now part of it comes back.

A SuiteHeat-equipped building is a coordinated fleet of controllable load. During a grid event, the platform gently pre-heats and then floats suites within your comfort policy — shedding measurable demand for an hour or two. The utility pays for that flexibility. It's the same hardware you installed to save 20–30%; demand response makes it earn.

Proven, not theoretical

Our deployment with Hilo and CAPREIT is documented in a published whitepaper: real dispatch events across real apartment buildings, with measured curtailment and zero comfort compromise. This isn't a pilot pitch — it's an operating capability.

How it works for owners

  • Enroll

we handle program registration (Hilo, IESO-connected programs, and utility DR as available in your territory).

  • Dispatch

events run automatically inside your comfort limits; tenants are protected by hard temperature floors.

  • Earn

program payments flow to the building; your dashboard shows every event and every dollar.

  • Stack

peak-demand management also trims the demand charges and Global Adjustment exposure on your own bill.

Will tenants feel it?
Events are short, pre-conditioned, and bounded by your minimum temperatures. In documented deployments, comfort complaints were a non-issue.
What's the revenue?
It depends on program, territory and building size — the assessment includes a revenue estimate for your portfolio.
Do we need SuiteHeat first?
DR rides on the SuiteHeat control fleet, so yes — which is why the savings case usually leads and DR is the bonus.
